Kataklysm, legendarni kanadski death metal bend, još na svojim počecima 1991. godine postaje poznat kao jedan od najekstremnijih i najhaotičnijih metal bendova. Na prvih par izdanja, Kataklysm pokazuje neskompromisnu brzinu, tehniku i brutalnost, najbolje opisanu kao 'northern hyperblast' kako su je okarakterisali i sami clanovi benda.

Bend nakon toga, u svojoj drugoj fazi, smiruje tempo i inkorporira melodične dijelove u svoju muziku po kojima bend postaje prepoznatljiv kasnije, pri tome ne gubeći na agresivnosti.

Nakon 20 godina postojanja, 10 studijskih albuma i impresivnim brojem urađenih svjetskih turneja, najveći kanadski death metal bend dolazi u Sarajevo u sklopu Spread The Venom turneje!

Karnak has been created in 1993, starting from an original idea of Mr. Stefano Rumich, an Italian drummer who proposed a new music style, where classical atmospheres of death metal are blenden together with progressive components, taking also into consideration the experience of groups like Pestilence, Death, Atheist and Voivoid.

As time passed by the engagement of Karnak has become more and more intense. Through several performances Karnak has made itself more known and appreciated. To this first period belong the first five demos.

Karnak has been influenced, among other, by Deicide, Cannibal Corpse and Suffocation. To this period belongs also the musical support given to the German group Pyogenesis in Kranj, Slovenia, where Karnak has achieved a grear success, bringing to the realisation of their first record, entitled “Perverted”.

In 2000 Karnak enters finally into the music world with the album “Melodies of Sperm Composed”, recorded at Gabriele Ravaglia’s Fear Studio and promoted worlwide by 12th Planet. Unfortunately later the activity of Karnak suffers a slowdown, also because 12th Planet’s promotional activity is very weak, until 2003 when 12th Planet stops its activity.

“Melodies of Sperm Composed” is still available and still much in demand. In spite of this slowdown, Karnak has continued to develop its music in these years, showing important and constant improvements because of the growing musical skills developed along the years.

In their new album, created in 2009 and entitled “Dismemberment” Karnak blends the most significant aspects of Meshuggah, the brutality of Nile, Suffocation and Morbid Angel and the dynamism of Pestilence.

Pa Karnak i jeste glavna atrakcija na ovom certu. Pa onda Pestifer. Kataklysm tek na trecem mjestu, i to samo zato sto ne poznajem ove fince. Uglavnom dobra svirka, odlican datum, dobra lokacija. Svi preduslovi za uspjeh su tu, ako ne bude raje, do raje je.

A ja se pitam kad cete stavit..najavu za ovo..

It was back in 2003 when times were hard for four lads in the city of Helsinki. There were too much riffs not yet to be played, too much lyrics unwritten and too little sweat to be bled on the stages. That was the beginning of Dead Shape Figure. The first ideas of forming a real metal band and not some hollow-born-dead-piece of shit-act that has nothing to offer to the audience, nor to the players themselves were spoke aloud and that was the beginning of Dead Shape Figure.

Dead Shape Figure should and will be a combination of aggression, physic, thoughts, joy and taste of thrash. That's how the results can be achieved. Soon the founding members, Galzi, Neibu, Oxa and Juhani realized that also second guitarist were needed and after a while the band were contacted by Erska, whose talents and guitar has been available since 2005.

Aiming to undisputed and maniac outcome can be killing. That is why an original line-up saw its first change in december 2005 when there was need for drummer replacement. This need was fulfilled by a man called Mohkis, whose talents were well known among Dead Shape Figure and the enthusiasm he brought with him was releafing.

As things tend to change and sorry things happen no matter how hard you try, there was another drummer replacement yet to come in the beginning of 2007 just after the recordings of third self-financed release. Somehow blessed as the band seems to be, there were this half a man, half a machine-person called Raikku just around the corner, without an active band. DSF hired the guy first as a session drummer, but the longer he stayed and played, the more certain it became that this was the guy not only replacing an injured friend, but the guy that would take DSF to another level.

The band's measure is exactly like Nonaka & Takeuchi's pattern says: More than its members, beyond individual, but only existing through every one of its makers.

It's not about protesting, infesting or worshipping anything. It's more like handling topics and issues that might not be so obvious without giving a little thought. Even more it's all about releasing, or receiving that extra energy of any kind

PESTIFER Death Metal (Belgium)

Pestifer is a death metal band founded by twins Adrien (bass) and Phil (drums). The objective was clear: creating something that smells like death but looks even darker.

2004 - 2006
The twins met Antoine (guitar). After sharing their ideas, they started to play together. Line-up is completed with Morty on vocals. The band has now about 10 songs. Pestifer record their first demo and play live everywhere they can. A good energy seems to emerge from these concerts. At the end of 2006, the band decides to part ways with Morty.

2007
The band still plays some gigs with session singers. Pestifer also record a song called «Involution Process» for the deathmetal.be sampler : «Face Your nderground VOLUME 5», featuring Panda (ex-Pitbulls in the Nursery) on vocals. The compilation is distributed in Europe and helps Pestifer to be internationaly heard.

2008
Pestifer find a new rehearsal room and recruite two new members : Emerson (guitar) and Jérôme (Vocals). The quintet writes new songs.

2009
Back from the grave, the band plays live with the new line-up, but the final objective is now to record a whole album. During the weekends of September until half of October, “Age of Disgrace” is recorded by Jérémy Stoz at Mammouth Production studios. The mix is realized during November.

2010
The new album is done and the second track «Contagious» is selected to appear on «FYU volume 8» sampler. Meanwhile, «Sleepless Century», the third track, takes part on «Combat Nasal» sampler. «Age of Digrace» received a lot of great feedback from zines and fans. They seem to be enthousiast about the future of Pestifer. The band starts to play more interesting gigs like Metal Méan Festival with Mayhem, Macabre, Devourment, Rotting Christ... They also open for Watain and Destroyer 666.

2011
Pestifer get a record deal with Ultimhate Records. A re-mastered version of « Age of Digrace » is distributed in the whole world. Andy Classen (Legion of the Damned, Krisiun, Belphegor‘s producer) worked on the new mastering. In march, The band participates to a mini-tour with the french guys of Mehtnakriss. Things seem to move faster. In may, Pestifer gladly get an European Tour with Kataklysm.
