Brutal Assault announces three newly confirmed bands headed by legendary avantgarde black metal act MANES!
Here is a message from the band: „Once again, after 8 years or so, we'll climb onstage and do our thing. Not once, but twice, at Brutal Assault 2014. We'll be doing a more stripped-down semi-accoustic thing on friday, and crank it all the way to three, maybe max five, at the grand mainstage on saturday... We've never played outside Norway before, and who knows; maybe we'll never play outside Norway again after this, so this'll most certainly be something special for both you and us!“

Another confirmed bands are LA-based experimental metallers IWRESTLEDABEARONCE and Swedish thrash/death metallers GRAND EXIT

Polish true-black metal legends MGLA, German death/thrash metallers DEW-SCENTED and UK based hardcore act BRUTALITY WILL PREVAIL have been announced as newly confirmed acts for BA 2014.

Brutal Assault is back with three newly confirmed acts for its 19th volume. Today with British thrash metal veterans ONSLAUGHT, Polish sludge-doom metal band BLINDEAD and Finnish grindcore group FEASTEM.

Also let us remind you that there are 4 weeks to buy the ticket at current prices. The ticket prices will go up from May 01.

Last two weeks for buying BA tickets for special prices

Please note that as of today you have two weeks for buying BA tickets for current extra prices. Right now you can buy your ticket online for 64EUR (+ 3 EUR transaction fees) or reserve your ticket for 80 Eur. Please visit the TICKETS section for more detailed information. Due to the presale progression it is highly recommended to buy the tickets in advance.

Today Brutal Assault reaches its big milestone

We are very pleased and extremely proud to announce that legendary thrash metal band SLAYER will headline Brutal Assault Festival 2014!

At the Brutal Assault Festival there has not been a more desired band than SLAYER and dreams ages old of both BA fans and organizers finally come true.
For many fans SLAYER is the most influential metal band on the planet and we are very happy to welcome this legendary metal band as a headliner of this year’s edition. The SLAYER confirmation is also a BIG thank you to all loyal BA supporters!
After the loss of Jeff Hanneman the band line-up consists of Tom Araya, Kerry King, Paul Bostaph and Gary Holt.

Brutal Assault announces next four bands for this year headed by Californian stoner metal band HIGH ON FIRE , US based thrash metallers SKELETONWITCH, Czech djent group MODERN DAY BABYLON and Swedish crustcore/black metal band MARTYRDÖD.

Unfortunately VICTIMS have been forced to cancel their participation due to some personal reasons.

Brutal Assault announces band names divided into single days

Accommodation during BA

We have got couple of questions about available capacities at hotels and VIP camp. We have good news about VIP camp, where the capacities will be increased comparing to the last year. Also we will be offering “ready to sleep” tents rental (more details coming soon). As for the hotel capacities, they are getting thinner however there still single rooms (very few), double and triple rooms available. For more details check the ACCOMMODATIONsection.


Lineup changes

Brutal Assault announces two line up changes. American death metal band PYREXIA has been forced to cancell all European tour including Brutal Assault. As their replacement Brutal Assault announes Hungarian death metallers GUTTED.
Unfortunately also TESSERACT have cancelled their appearance due to serious family reasons.
