In 2008 METALCAMP festival celebrates the 5th Anniversary and also grants headbanger's holidays at it's finest for the upcoming edition. From 4th - 8th of July it's time again to enjoy brilliant holiday-feeling combined with metal-madness in its' pure culture in Tolmin, Slovenia on the most beautiful European festival-area. 5 days of heavy music on 2 stages including camping and beach-party let the summer 08 become a great season for all of you maniacs. In consideration of the 5th birthday, of course, the offered range of metal-artists will become very special and appropriate to this occasion! The first bands are already confirmed and give you a delicious foretaste about the sensation that awaits you:

MINISTRY usa
From "Last Sucker" to "Last Supper"! RTN&MoM present you the cult-band from Chicago of front-man and contrarian Al Jourgensen at MC 08. MINISTRY fill the masses with enthusiasm since the early 80s with their own interpretation of industrial metal and wrote a part of music-history according to their provocative and innovative song-material. The legendary US-combo patronizes the camp in Slovenia during their "Last Supper"-Tour (the final tour in the band's carrier) with exclusive dates in Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. Afterwards MINISTRY will - referring to their announcement - spilt unfortunately.

CELTIC FROST ch
With CELTIC FROST, the 2nd cult-force is confirmed for your headbanger's holidays 08! Thomas "Warrior" Fischer and Eric Ain belong to the most important protagonists of the extreme metal scene since their legendary "Hellhammer-times" and created with their comeback-album "Monotheist" in 2006 a timeless manifest honouring their occult piety. The cult-thermometer reaches his highpoint!

KATAKLYSM usa/can
This Canadian armament is not simply a solid institution in the death metal world, but also a band, who knows exactly how to cast a spell over the audience during their performance. KATAKLYSM construct a monumental over-all-work of death metal art, which singularity and professionalism cannot be outclassed, with grinding blast-assaults and finest, razor-sharp guitars.

Uninhibited booze-ups and stunning thrash metal harmonize together perfectly. TANKARD shows the true evidence for this thesis. After all the band belongs to the pioneers of Teutonic thrash besides of Sodom, Destruction and Kreator.

5 potvrdjenih bandova vec gledao, jeb ga čini mi se kako vrijeme ide da je izbor sve gori i gori, mada u sustini nije toliko lose al jebi ga sad je upitno vrijedi li otići... daj boze da iko ode na ovo al hajd valjda bude jos nesto interesantno pa cemo vidjet

u pravu si Emire...dosta se vec gledalo, a kataklysm - ovo je vec pretjerano...

no dobro, ipak su se tek poceli stavljati bendovi, vidjece se jos...

slabo slabo..Tankard, Legion i Celtic Frost...valjda objave jos sta zanimljivo kasnije

na neki fest bi me sledece godine mogli odvuc at the gates & carcass . . . vjerovatno idem na najblizi koji njih dovede . . .
