Decontrolled (Srbija)
Posted: 11. 02. 2009. 20:13Bend iz Srbije, tacnije iz Beograda, nedavno izdali album prvijenac pod nazivom "Self-Portrait", a tako se i EP zvao ak se ne varam. Radi se o modernom nu metal zvuku sa rap metal uletima (koji u ovom slucaju nisu iritantni), a nadje se tu i primjesa modernog melodeatha, metalcorea, itd.

Decontrolled started in the year of 2003 as a solo project of Marko Tica, a drummer from a band Apocalypse. After a few months, the project started to gain public attention in the homeland with a few demo recordings. In the beginning of 2005 Marko joins band State Of Gray, where he finds few people interested in taking part in Decontrolled. In following months band self-releases a demo pack called “Unleashed†as a compilation of all demo releases which gained good critics once again. End of 2005 brings a first solid lineup, consisting of Marko Tica – guitars-vocals,
leksandar Vucetic – vocals, Pavle Lekic – vocals, Miloš Milic – bass, Marko Protic – guitars, Matija Dagovic – drums i Sanjin Corovic – keyboards. With this lineup band goes through the year of 2006, releasing another demo, pre-album release “Self Portrait†and also a split demo disc with Draconic. In the following year of 2007, while recording a debut album, Vuk Kazimirovic substitutes Marko Protic as a new guitarist. With numerous difficulties, recording is finished in the middle of 2008, followed by another lineup change. leksandar Vucetic leaves the band and Marko Tica takes a role of a lead vocalist. In the summer of 2008, band starts to play shows and begins their search for a record label. After playing Exit festival in Novi Sad, Serbia, headining position on Neofest in Banja Luka, Bosnia and a numerous homeland shows, band sings with Mascom Automatic and Mr. Metal labels. Debut album “Self Portait†is officially out December 1st, 2008. Decontrolled is currently doing a promo tour for a debut album and preparing material for a new album.
