Commented guitarist Robert Vigna: "We are really excited about the new material. It is really a powerful bunch of songs. They kick you hard right from the start and leave you pummeled by the end! I think the fans are going to go apeshit when they hear these tracks!"

Added vocalist/bassist Ross Dolan: "The new stuff definitely has a very dark feel, but does not let up on the heaviness or intensity at all. There is a hint of both the last two records, 'Unholy Cult' and 'Harnessing Ruin', in the new songs, but they are coming from a completely different approach. They are going to knock you on your ass!"

IMMOLATION will head out to Holland directly after the studio to play the Arnhem Metal Meeting festival with ARCH ENEMY before traveling to Paris to shoot a video for the upcoming album.

Listenable Records will release an IMMOLATION EP in February â€” the band's first ever â€” which will also contain a live DVD, a complete show from one of the group's most recent performances at the B.B. King club in New York City. The video was shot by Evil Eye Productions and really captures the feeling of the night. "The way they shot it was great â€” really cool angles and camera work,â€¦you will feel like you're in the front row!" the band said.

IMMOLATION's new full-length album will be out in April through Century Media and Listenable Records in the U.S. and Europe respectively. Look out for the band to hit Europe for an extensive tour in May 2007.

Krisiun added to Immolation European tour

Brazilian death metallers KRISIUN will team up with IMMOLATION for a European co-headlining tour in May/June. Also appearing on the bill will be ABORTED. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.

KRISIUN recently completed a U.S. tour with SIX FEET UNDER, DECAPITATED and ABYSMAL DAWN. This was the group's second U.S. run in support of their highly acclaimed new album, "AssassiNation", which was released earlier this year. Their new video for the track "Vicious Wrath" made its "Headbanger's Ball" debut last month. This is a stripped down clip accentuating the sheer brutality of their live performances

IMMOLATION have completed recording sessions for their 2007 releases! Recorded, mixed and mastered at Millbrook Sound Studios with producer Paul Orofino, IMMOLATION is set to really add some fuel to the fire for 2007!! The new material is some of their darkest and heaviest yet, while once again providing a very unique sound and style from their past releases.

The ep will be entitled "Hope and Horror" and will contain the following tracks; "Den of Thieves", "The Condemned" and "The Struggle of Hope and Horror". The last track being an epic instrumental, the band's first ever! The ep itself is also a first for IMMOLATION and the band is extremely happy with how it came out. "The three tracks really showcase all of our strongest elements and some new approaches as well. I think people are really going to like it! The ep has it all!", says guitarist Robert Vigna.

Together with the 3 new exclusive tracks will be a DVD of an entire live set recorded last year at BB Kings night club in New York City. "The video work on this is amazing, the sound is raw, but you can make everything out really well. It really gets the live feel like your there!" says bass/vocalist Ross Dolan.

The full length album will be entitled "Shadows in the Light". It will feature the following 10 tracks; "Hate's Plague", "Passion Kill", "World Agony", "Tarnished", "The Weight of Devotion", "Breathing the Dark", "Deliverer of Evil", "Shadows in the Light", "Lying with Demons" and "Whispering Death". A dark twisted ride, "Shadows in the Light" is aggressive, emotional and haunting. A powerful album that delivers all of IMMOLATION's attributes! Catchy as hell, very direct and to the point, the album devastates on all levels from blasting madness and militant charges, to sorrow filled doom and depression. It is a very complete record with soulful solos, thunderous raging drums and vocals that lash right out at you!

IMMOLATIONâ€™s new material is sure to bring the genre up to a new height of dark/death/black metal emotion and rage! Extreme metal will truly see the light in 2007,â€¦the light of the everlasting fire known as IMMOLATION!
