Fractured Transmitter Records will be issuing former CARCASS bassist/vocalist Jeff Walker's solo album consisting exclusively of country and blues covers from artists including SKEETER DAVIS, HANK WILLIAMS, JOHNNY CASH, CONNIE SMITH, and JOHN DENVER — albeit with a metallic spin. The CD, entitled "Welcome to Carcass Cuntry", is tentatively scheduled for release in February/March 2006.

"What I'm doing is kinda left of center to some extent," Walker told Decibel magazine late last year. "It's really not that original of an idea when you consider that [SOCIAL DISTORTION frontman] Mike Ness has already done a country-hybrid album. But I don't think anyone from a background like mine has done it, and done it with a bit of respect — not turning it into a piss take."

"Welcome to Carcass Cuntry" will include contributions from H.I.M. drummer Gas, H.I.M. frontman Ville Valo (bass/backing vocals), former CARCASS guitarist/FIREBIRD frontman Bill Steer (lead guitar, harmonica, slide guitar, vocals), AMORPHIS guitarists Esa Holopainen and Tomi Koivusaari (guitars), keyboardist Santeri Kallio (keyboards) and bassist Niclas Etelävuori (bass), ex-FAITH NO MORE bassist Billy Gould, and former CARCASS drummer Ken Owen.

"I like the irony of me doing a solo album and being the most untalented person on the album," Walker joked. "I could play the instruments half-assed, but I think it's better to recognize your own failings and get someone else in who could do it better."

Hahahaha, nemrem vjerovat, Carcass i country u istoj recenici :lol:

Da bude gore, spominje se i Him, džizs... Sramota, taj necovjek, basista Carcassa bruka njihovo casno ime, treba ga golog bacit u kavez napunjen Carcassovim fanovima

Boze sacuvaj

Nadajmo se samo da je ovo eksperiment pred ponovno okupljanje grupe i to samo ako ce da sviraju mjuzu ko na Necroticismu

E i ti si hrpa genetskog otpada nevidjena...

Jeff Walker mozda jest najpoznatiji po svojoj proslosti kao zajebani Death urlac, ali je Jeff nekad bio i u konceptualno daleko manje Metal kliseima opterecenim Electro Hippies-ima, a kakve su ekscentricne karijere imali ostali ljudi na neki nacin vezani uz taj nenadjebivi Napalm Death, Walkerov potez trenutno nimalo ne iznenadjuje. Dave Grohl princip inverzno, doveo je jednog havera koji je kompletno puko (Bill Steer), i kolektiv zrelih i komercijalno uspjesnih finskih megaobozavaoca koji incidentno imaju reklame po casopisima vec par mjeseci za svoj solo projekat, koji je jebeni namaz carcass-u. Hrpa cudnih ljudi s cudnim ukusima...gej? Ne, oni su ipak prosli neko sazrijevanje, Arch Enemy nikad nebi mogo doc do Peel-a ;)

Ima kul i bez Metala ;)

Wtf?Dobro,Jeff i country - nek radi šta hoće,jebiga...al sam naziv "Welcome to Carcass Cuntry" mu nikako ne treba!Jadni život od stare slave još jadnijim načinom...

Aj jebem mu sejtana svetog... Dovoljno sto je Krkas zasro sa onim agda albumima (preko kojih su mnogi i presli) a sad on jos malo da doda hahahaha.
