ipak je tolki gazda benda pa mislim da nije nemoguce da ostatak ekipe izbaci kako se govorka na netu.
kakogod bilo bi mi krivo da se raspadnu, mada kotipelto ima jako fin pocetak solo karijere i to bi mi bila kakva takva utjeha

"STRATOVARIUS: TIMO KOTIPELTO And JÖRG MICHAEL Are Out! - Dec. 8, 2003

Finland's STRATOVARIUS have officially parted ways with vocalist Timo Kotipelto and drummer Jörg Michael.

"Due to irrevocable and massive difficulties between the band leader Timo Tolkki and me, it has been agreed that this is the best thing to do to preserve at least some of the integrity the band used to have," Kotipelto said, according to the band's web site. "I will now fully concentrate on my solo album and I am convinced that this is the best way for me."

Jörg Michael says that his priorities lie elsewhere at the moment, but that the suddenly escalating trouble in the band is one of the main reasons he doesn't want to play in STRATOVARIUS anymore.

"I think this is the beginning of new era for STRATOVARIUS and that the future looks bright and promising," guitarist/leader Timo Tolkki commented. "I have composed some of my best songs during the last month. If anything good comes out of this, then I guess it will be the emotions I have managed to channel into new songs about this situation, which has been very heavy for all of us. I have been having quite bad mental problems lately, but I feel better now due to anti-depressive medication my therapist has prescribed me."

According to the group's booking agent, Continental Concerts, the current line-up is "100% certain" to fulfill all its obligations regarding festival dates next year even though there is a lot of simmering hate waiting to boil over.

Tolkki is currently talking to a German singer and a Finnish drummer about replacing Kotipelto and Michael, but he stresses that absolutely nothing is confirmed at this point. He adds that he is actively looking for replacements. "

Stratovarius su mi najdrazi bend i ubit cu se ako se raspadnu. Jebeno je kad vokal ode. Tesko je naci dobru zamjenu.

Ima dosta dobrih bubnjara i nece tesko naci drugog ali zasto moraju dovesti neku kurvu da pjeva.

Dublji textovi? Mozda, ali tesko.. pogledaj malo nightwishove textove, ono treba napisati a bogme i za slomit jezik kada se treba otpjevati.

Ja hocu. Ali dobro donekle si u pravu - ona jeste 60% benda ali i Stratovarius ne bi bio ono sto jeste da nema Tolki-a. Svaki bend ima neku svoju karakteristiku i svoju snagu.


Upravo tako. Naravno da je istina da veliki utjecaj na popularnost benda ima Tarja, ali doista mislim da nije ni upitno glazbeno umijece clanova benda gdje je Holopainen sigurno odlican klavijaturist, a Jukka odlican bubnjar.. i da ja bi ih takodjer slusao i da nema Tarje

gledo sam njihove tekstove isto ko i sonata arctica ajde da napisemo tekst da ne bude instrumental :D a to sto moras lomit jezik evo ti jedan moj tekst za lomljenje jezika - al videces da je extra idiotski:

Hmm :) Ne omalovazavam ja Stratovarius sada.. naprotiv Stratovarius je odlican, ali po meni za razliku od Nightwisha Strat-ovi albumi stvarno ponekad znaju biti malo naporni za poslusati ih citave pa prema tome sad zasad i dalje dajem prednost nightwishu.. vidjecemo dalje kako ce se razvijati (pogotovo Strat. sa svojim novim vokalom :) ..

P.S. A sto se razmene tice sta kazes da prebacimo to na private i dogovorimo se?

STRATOVARIUS Webmaster Fred Derf has posted the following statement regarding the current state of leader/guitarist Timo Tolkki:


“Today I received a phone call from Timo Tolkki. He sounded like being in a very confused state of mind and was talking about red Kabbalah ribbons and how when he was reading MADONNA´s biography he felt warm waves all over his body and that the spirit of Jesus entered him and that now he really has found something he has been searching for all his life. I am very worried about him, he sounded like completely crazy. From this day onwards I will not take the responsibility of whatever is being released on this Website. As long as my paycheck arrives, I will continue putting on the site whatever Tolkki asks me to put there. But there is nothing I can do about it. I just work here.”
