German thrash metal veterans KREATOR will enter the Titonus studios in ..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Berlin on July 20 to begin recording the highly anticipated follow-up to their 2005 release "Enemy of God". Helming the as-yet-untitled album is top German producer Moses Schneider.

Commented KREATOR leader Mille Petrozza: "The pre-production in our rehearsal studios went really smooth. Moses' way of working with bands takes place more on an emotional than on a technical level, which means the album will sound very raw and direct. We're trying to capture KREATOR's live energy and will be using nice vintage analog equipment for the recordings this time. Expect a massacre!"

The album, which will be mixed by Colin Richardson (MACHINE HEAD, SLIPKNOT) in London, will be released in January 2009, followed by an extensive world tour.

nadam se da ce produkcija biti malo drugacija nego na Violent Revolution i EOG
al Mille vise nema onaj stari glas (nije ni cudo s godinama) al ne bi bilo lose da se malo vrate u stare dane sto se produkcije tice i da budu malo siroviji
uzivo sm ih gledo jedno 5-6 puta (prvi put sam ih gledo 95te a zadnji put 06e) i energija je tu mada se vidi da su dotrajali , jedino Ventor (ne znam otkud mu ta energija) zvuci (ili se ponasa) ko jos mlad
nadam se da cu ih opet vidjeti iduce godine i nadam se da nece biti zadnji put

budi siguran da nece.
ovakvi bendovi ne zele da se vracaju u proslost.

Hey Metalheads!

The past few weeks have been very busy for us, so there weren’t many updates on our activities. The Tuska Festival in Finland (where I got to see my all-time faves, Fields of the Nephilim, live for the first time and even talked to Carl Mc Coy) and The Rockin’ Transilvania festival are now history and it has been amazing! Thank you to Michaela and Olaf for the great organization in Sibiu and all the great people at Tuska - one of Europe’s best Festivals! Most of all thanks to all the fans that have been there.



Some news about the album:

This production will be the first time since “Pleasure to Kill” that the band will record in a live situation! Our producer, Moses Schneider, created the Smokehead – the biggest microphone in the world - exclusively to capture the band’s organic sound for this record!

We’ll post photos of this monster and studio reports here and on myspace as soon as there is something to see. On my way to Berlin now - check in for more details in the next couple of days.

totalno si u pravu...stvarno su to albumi koji ubijaju,ali problem je sto kad slusam onda se odvaljujem do 4-5 pjesme nakon cega izbacujem cd jer mi postaje dosadno...znas vjerovatno o cem pricam...

salu na stranu, kreator je zakljucno sa comom savrsen bend... ovo poslije je dobro za neki rock... do violent, onda krenuse s tim novim fazonom, koji je opet dobar, al prva faza je nezamjenjiva....

Meni je krivo sto ne rade ponovo sa Andy Sneap-om jer bi onda bio siguran da ce im zvuk biti odlican a ovako ne znam sta da ocekujem...mozda neki eksperiment kao na Renewal ili Cause for Conflict...

ma bolje i to nego da opet probavaju formulu enemy-ja i violenta...bili bi zaista neukusno od njih da nam u 10 god serviraju 3 ista albuma...

Ista ??? Hm...zvuk jeste tu i tamo ali ni u kom slucaju nisu dosadni...meni su genijalni. To je Kreator i pjesme su odlicne...mogli su mu produkciju uraditi i kao na Endorami album bi opet bio dobar.
