meni je the angel and the dark river brrrr album ( u pozitivnom smislu ) pogotovu Martin Powell sa violinom. steta sto vise nije sa njima :(

Like Gods Of The Sun, bez sumnje!
Svatko tko jos nije cuo My Dying Bride, neka pocne s ovim albumom. Niti jedan album ne opisuje epic doom metal tako savrseno kao ovaj. Jos sa orguljama i violinom unosi tako snaznu notu depresivnosti, da je to naprosto savrseno. Jednostavno, nema lose pjesme, sve su vrhunska ostvarenja. Kao roden za mracnjake... 8)

OK eto ja sam zainteresovan za njih posto sam mnogo lijepih rijeci o njima na netu. Lice li na neki na neki od poznatijih bendova?

Na poznatiji? Koliko ja znam, ne. Ima par jos nepoznatijih bendova npr. Novembers Doom koji su im po melodiji dosta slicni, ali My Dying Bride je jedinstven bend.
Obavezno nabavi Like Gods Of The Sun i sigurno neces ostati ravnodusan. Dapace, odusevit ces se (ako volis doom, npr. ako ti se svidaju Type O Negative, YEAH!) :wink:

Odavno zelim da nabavim neki njihov album ali ovde nema nista. Nekako sam stekao utisak da je Turn Loose The Swans najbolji ali sad me vi razuveriste. Trebalo bi uskoro da dobijem originalni TLTS iz Nemacke.

Dobar im je i onaj live album (koji nije naveden u anketi) The Voice Of The Wreched, prava poslastica za ljubitelje live albuma i ovog benda svakako 8)

E, pa ovako :
Juce sam dobio Turn Loose The Swans i The Angel And The Dark River.
I jedan i drugi stvarno odlicni albumi. Posebno Turn Loose The Swans koji stvarno opravdava cesto upotrebljivani epitet najboljeg doom albuma svih vremena.
A vokal mi posebno odgovara pogotovo sto ne koristi grunt (vrlo malo na Turn Loose The Swans, nimalo na Angel).
Ma jednostavno, fenomenalni su.

taj mi je nekako najdrazi, a i najbolji. inace veliki sam fan ovog benda.

Sad sam primetio tek da sam zaboravio ovde da glasam. Posto sam konacno uspeo da preslusam sve albume (osim najnovijeg The Dreadful Hours) moram se odluciti za Turn Loose The Swans. Pesme kao sto su Your River i The Crown of Sympathy jednostavno ne dozvoljavaju nijedan drugi izbor.

band mi nije uopće loš, ima nekih usranih pjesma al je sve u svemu dobar.
al to meni više death nego doom :)
