Sloboda Olimpic? hahahahahahaha

Top 10 BIGGEST RIVALS in English football

Image
Quote:
Beginning with Leeds v Man United,a rivalry that's on hold for the moment, but 'the War of the Roses' still makes your top 10.

They may be Welsh, but Swansea v Cardiff is one of the fiercest rivalries in the English leagues. Swansea issued an apology to Cardiff in 2006 when Lee Trundle donned this cartoon T-shirt after the Swans' Football League Trophy final victory. Trundle and Alan Tate also held up a flag with the slogan: 'F*** off Cardiff' emblazoned across it. Police in South Wales must be pleased the two clubs are in different divisions!

It used to be commonly referred to as 'the friendly derby', but the Merseyside derby has produced more red cards than any other Premier League fixture and Jack Rodwell was the last player to receive his marching orders. The most recent meeting ended 2-2, though the Toffees haven't recorded a win since October 2010. Both clubs have immense history, making this match up one of the all-time greats

Less than 20 miles separate these two clubs and they represent a rivalry that extends to both cities. In recent years the fortunes of Saints and Pompey have contrasted greatly - while one is on the up, the other has been on the way down - but they still retain a huge sense of rivalry

Not too long ago it's doubtful this rivalry would have been voted above the Merseyside derby, but it is now a very eagerly anticipated clash, which has given fans moments to cherish in recent years. Last season City walloped United 6-1 at Old Trafford. Rooney's overhead kick in February 2011, which earned United a 2-1 win, was voted the best goal in Premier League history, while City beat their rivals on their way to winning the 2011 FA Cup

Quote:
This rivalry is rarely played out on the pitch and, when the two clubs do meet, there tends to be a horrible amount of vitriol in the stands

Image
Quote:
Alex McLeish intensified this already fearsome rivalry by becoming Aston Villa manager in June 2011, less than a week after leaving his post at Birmingham, following Blues relegation and despite clinching the League Cup trophy. Unsurprisingly, the appointment wasn't very popular at Villa Park and McLeish lasted less than 12 months in charge

These feisty affairs mean everything to fans in the north-east. Three of the last four meetings have ended in 1-1 draws, although Sunderland fans are still hurting after ex-boss Steve Bruce was left even redder-faced following a humiliating 5-1 defeat at St James' Park in October 2010

Image
Quote:
Bragging rights in North London have been won by Arsenal this season, even though the Gunners are five points behind their rivals. Arsene Wenger's side battered Spurs 5-2 last month, but have some work to do if they are to finish above the Lilywhites for an 18th consecutive season

Quote:
Man City may be Man United's rivals for the title right now, but the rivalry between the Reds and the Red Devils remains the strongest in England, according to talkSPORT listeners. You can't buy history!

YOO CAN'T BUY HISTORY !

Chelsa. Kakav City, kakvi bakrači ...
