Orijentalni metal iz zemlje Gojira-e, Hacride-a i Benighteda - Francuske.

Nisam đaba spomenuo ova tri benda, naročito prvi. Ovi ljudi sviraju neki čudan metal - ima tu brutale, melodičnog deatha, modernice, orijenatalnih i folk zvukova, atmosferičnih muških i zanosnih ženskih cleanova.

Prvi put ih čuo na ISK u petak i danas skinuo album Hilal iz 2008. Album je producirao Fredrik Nordström a miksao Jacob Hansen. Malo je reć da ga je ugodno slušati 8) .
Članova ima 6 i mislim da su svi alžirci.

Trenutno su na turneji sa Orphaned Landom, možda njima i stilski i tematski najsrodnijim bendom.

dobro ovo Foka pravo! Nekad podsjete na Behemoth, nekad na Orphaned Land (oni zenski vokali i akusticni momenti), nekad i na Salem.. Odlican vokal!!

Ovaj album imam ovdje na kompu i nikad nisam preslušao :oops:

Da ovo prebacimo u avantgarde, Å¡ta mislite ljudi? :)


Ovo treba preslušat... Orphaned Land inače obožavam, a nisam ni njihov novi album preslušao, a skinuo ga neki dan...

Prebačeno na death metal, jebiga, ne bih u avantgarde niti u folk jer su više melodic d.m.

Ma svejedno na kojem dijelu foruma se nalazi, bitno je da se provjeri kako zvuče - a zvuče jako dobro i interesantno.

Groans Of The Abyss - koji riffovi u versu :D
Lords Decline - koji epic kraj i onda baš brutalan nastavak u Mistress Of The Damned Souls :twisted: . Tied Fates je sva epska, no more comment.

Athaoura je tako dobra pjesma, sevdah za uši, svako je malo vrtim. I ostatak albuma je sjajan.

Why did you choose the name Arkan? I see it is a Serbian mafia boss, but I am not sure your choice for that name has anything to do with it…

You're absolutely right, that is just a pure coincidence. Arkan in Arabic means “Pillars”. This word carries a strong meaning for us, because it is primarily a line of conduct, which has to be respected – a point of connection with our ancestors. It marks the link between what we are and what we were. As native of the southern countries, whose traditions, culture, music are sometimes at odds with our lives in Europe, we need to find a certain balance. "Arkan" is a kind of guide line for this endeavour.
