No, I’m not interested. I think that they’re a crap band. I can’t stand that sort of music. I like heavy rock music. Madness were the best of those type of bands, they were the only White one, and a lot of their fans were rightwing. They chose to sell out for money. We never did that. It was the same with Sham 69. I remember seeing Sham 69 playing to 7 people down the Roxy, I enjoyed them, they were great. Now Jimmy Pursey hangs around with Rastas and all sorts. He’s totally gone in the head. He’s never been a great singer, he had a bit of a stage presence cos people identified with him. The thing about all that is that I saw Jimmy Pursey turn up at gigs wearing baseball boots, change into DMs for the gig, then change back into baseball boots after the gig. The geezer has never been a skinhead, he sings about it but he’s never been one. There was only one skinhead in that band ever, and that was their first bass player, Alby. He was the only skinhead that’s ever been in Sham 69.

Sta Ian sere. Ian je taj koji je u clanku za novine koji ima na netu rekao kako nece nikad izabrati stranu izmedju komunista i nacista. Da nece pomagati ni jednim ni drugima, niti drzati koncerte u njihovu korist, jer to nije za 'skinheadse'.
Samo godinu dana nakon toga, pojeo je svoje govno.

Pored toga, imidj skrewdrivera se promjenio takodjer. I to skroz. Prvo neki pankeri, fazon the clash izgled, a onda odjednom kao zajebani skinheadsi.

Poenta je da se svi mjenjaju, ali za razliku od njega, Jimmy nikad nije rekao da je skinhead, vec je rekao kako je uvijek mjesao tri subkulture zajedno i to je bio njegov stil (mod, skin i suedehead).

To ti je kao danas...Lozis se na metal..izgledas kao panker..a ides na tezgu Amadeus benda...Pusti te lovacke pricice Ian jeste prosao punk fazu i on se toga stideo.

Vidis, svi mi prolazimo kroz faze, ali nebi rekao da se stidim iti jedne faze mog zivota jer je svaka bila bitna za moje odrastanje.

Oni koji se stide svoje proslosti su oni koji ce se stidjeti i sadasnjosti za nekoliko godina.
