nako fini su,m da ti kazem sa jednog laickog stajalista, nesto sam slusao ovdje na radiju iz ovog tvog foldera, i meni se svidja sto nisu dosadni...jebe se meni jel to sludge il funeral il neki alien transcedencion doom il slicno sranje sa kompliciranim imenom, ali ovi su ok.

GRIEF je legendarani sludge/doom bend koji je iza sebe ostavio kultnih 6 full lenght albuma, jednu kompilaciju izgubljenih i neizdatih pjesama te dva splita, sa mocnim japanskim underground sludge/stoner/hc doomsterima Corrupted i full zenskim sludge/doom bendom 13 (gitaristkinja sada svira u Electric Wizard-u). Oni su bend za koji se milion puta nagovjestalo da ce se raspasti i to se konacno i desilo 2001. godine zbog: "The band split up due to being unhappy with the hostile musical climate in which their music (doom-metal) was unfortunatly not appreciated anymore." Ako ko voli sporu-ko-puz-tesku-repetativnu-napacenu muziku sa hc like/scream vokalima te tekstove o mrznji prema ljudima i svijetu onda je Grief bend za njega... Takodjer preporucljivo za sve koji gotive sporiji Hc, Sludge, te naravno Doom metal.

A recent posting on Grief`s official website here reads as follows:

"RUMOUR DEPT.... The phrase "GRIEF REUNION" has been tossed around and MIGHT even happen..."


The group disbanded in June 2001, with Southern Lord issuing a posthumous compilation of unreleased/out of print material under the moniker Turbulent Times in 2002. More recently, some of their members have been involved with Noosebomb and Superpower, the former of which released their debut album, Brain Food For The Braindead, through Shifty Records earlier this year.
