Black metal mi se ne svidja iz jednog prostog razloga
Iako je muzika dosta dobra vokali su apsolutno odvratni. Moze li neko da mi objasni jer uopste ne shvatam u cemu je tu stvar. :?:
Npr. na prva dva albuma najbolje metal grupe Paradise Lost (Gothic i Shades of God koji su i jedini albumi koje posedujem koji imaju neke veze sa black metalom) su otpevana u takvom stilu i to je po mom misljenju oduzelo jedno 50% od vrednosti albuma koji su inace sjajni. Cim su batalili takav stil stvorili su dva najbolja albuma u istoriji metala - Icon i Draconian Times.

Ekstremna muzika kao black metal zahtjeva ekstremne vokale, eto ukratko. Ne vidim tu nista lose.
Paradise Lost nema apsolutno veze s black metalom. Da si rekao s death, hajd jos i nekako prvi albumi pa se moze neka tanka paralela povuci. A Gothic i Shades Of God su i jedni od najboljih albuma PL. Na Shades Of God nalazi se i njihova najbolja As I Die. Bezprijekorni albumi.

Nisam ni rekao da su Gothic i Shades of God losi. Cak sam napisao da su albumi sjajni ali da su mogli biti i bolji bez "extremnih vokala". As I Die je odlicna pesma. Ipak i na oficijalnom sajtu grupe http://www.paradiselost.co.uk se kaze sa cim se ja slazem da "It was the following album, “Icon”, that finally established the band in the Champions League and that is still recognised today as a milestone in modern Heavy Metal." Izvinjavam se sto sam pomesao black i death metal jer to meni sve zvuci isto ali cinjenica je da su Paradise Lost mnogo bolji (mozda ne za tebe ali za veliki broj ljudi ukljucujuci i mene) bez tog death metal uticaja. Naravno posle Draconian Times su poceli da skrecu sa teme ali sudeci po recenziji koju sam procitao na sajtu Symbol of Life bi mogao da bude pravi naslednik prva 4 albuma.

Sta je s bendovima kao sto su Immortal (meni su oni izuzetno dobri i dragi), Emperor, Enslaved. posto vidim slusas dosta black metal, zanima me sta mislis o ovim bendovima koje sam ja spomenuo, narocito o Immortalu? (BTW moze odgovor i na engleskom)

I like Immortal pretty much, simply because they haven`t changed their style that much (at least they didn`t wimped out) during all those years, though I still prefer the first two mostly as they sounded colder to me. Enslaved are also quite good, though the first one is also an unreachable masterpiece in my eyes! About Emperor...hmmm...they really changed when you compare it to the past! I like everything what they released in the past ( the demo, As The Shadows Rise 7", the split with Enslaved, and those first two masterpieces)and also the 7" of their previous band Thou Shalt Suffer , but after "Anthems...", my favourite, they have really changed a lot and I think it was a good idea to call it quits! For my taste it was too complex at all and couldn`t by far reach the atmosphere of previous releases. It is also due to the too clean and polished sound for my eyes.

OK thanx for your opinions. I may be a little boring with all these questions to you, but I see you're quite into black metal, so I would like to hear some more of your opinions, if you don't mind.
what do you think about Satyricon, previous albums, the new one, about the band and that? again I must say that Nemesis Divina is one of my favourite black metal albums of all time. the new album isn't so good to me...
I don't know if you've ever heard of an excellent black metal band from Sarajevo (there's an interview with them on the site) called Silent Kingdom, they are really good, maybe something for you...

I don`t know why, but I really never liked them too much. For sure they had a few cool songs, but it was never that style I prefered ( I like early Burzum style mostly!), though it was ok... I haven`t heard the last albums, so I cannot judge, but if it is in the vein of the "Intermezzi II" MCD, I don`t think that I would like it, for the same reasons as the new Emperor stuff.
I have never heard about Silent Night...seems that I have to check them out! Don`t ask me why, but BiH is one of those countries, I never heard Metal bands, though I have heard a lot of bands from exotic countries(like malaysia, Indonesia, South Afrika, Peru,...). The only band I heard from the name was Interfector (or are they from Slovenia?) or something like that, who shared the stage with German Desaster, when they played in Banja Luka!

Vrlo jednostavno, procitaj tekstova, pa ces vidjeti da bilo koje drugo koristenje vokala ne funkcionise.

they call it oriental-folk-black metal (read the interview for more detals on this site and visit their web site http://www.silentkingdom.tk ). in my opinion, they are so much better than Interfector (yes, they're from Banja Luka). And if you haven't heard bosnian metal bends, try Agonize (black-death metal band from Tuzla), they rule...

sa ovim se DEFINITIVNO slazem.nema kvalitetnijeg death metal benda u B&H, a mozda i sire... :)

Nisam bas zalazio u sire krugove ovog black metal-a, ali koliko sam ih slusao i nisu mi se bas svi svidjeli. vecina bendova (ovih malo manje poznatijih, ali i za neku raju vec kultnih) mi zvuce kao kad na ulici buse beton sa kompresorom.
ja ipak preferiram bendove sa malo vise atmosfere u pjesmama kao sto su rotting christ, emperor, immortal, enslaved, cradle of filth, dimmu borgir, a i ovaj novi bathory mi se svidio. ima tu jos bendova, da ih ne nabrajam

pa blackusa je nesto sto vrlo rado slusam... bolje receno sto sam slusao, da se odmah ogranicim od onih manijaka koji COF i DIMMU ne smatraju black metal-om

jedno vrijeme mi je black bio omiljena vrsta muzike od onih snimaka iz cenife do danasnjih mrak produkcija. Omiljeni black metal bendovi su mi Cradle Of Filth i Dimmu Borgir... Satyricon se pokvario, Bathory nikada nece biti kao nekad, a Venom-a nema.

Ima milion onih starih bendova kao Mayhem i Darkthrone, ali me nervira zvuk. I mislim da je to suplja onih blackera koji misle da to mora tako zvucati.

odusevio me Silent Kingdom, i nadam se da ce imati priliku snimiti svoj materijal onako kako to dostoji onoj kreativnosti.

uzasno me nervira nacisticka i fasisticka furka nekih idiota iz scene i takve bendove ne podrzavam i necu nikada. I jako sam osjetljiv na tekstove takvih bendova.

mislim da ako black namjerava opstat mora biti jako dobro odsviran i biti jako dobro koncipiran. jedan od najjacih black/death bendova je definitivno Dissection!
