Burning Misery
Bosnia and Herzegovina should be proud to know that they have a formidable raw Black metal beast in their wake. Silna Volja Srebra, by black metallers KRV is like the red meat buffet of Black Metal. The opening made me want to rush outside with a flail and "Celebrate the Black Arts". However the rawness seeps away in between the second and third song, but comes back in for the rest of the album. The guitar is really being thrashed on this album, its just sheet after sheet of overdriven mess. The vocals are really raw and primitive, but unlike say the standout vocals I heard on Arckanum's Trulen, the vocals blended in with thrashy guitar and sounded like a snake or demon were literally on the mic. It really came off that way, and just helped string this along. At times the sheer blacked thrash gives way to a little less rawness. Which was okay, but the rawest parts of the album were its most enjoyable. The vocals stayed raw, yet the guitar changed to a more regular black metal sound. However the album was excellent, and was more in the vein of what I enjoy; music that has that raw sound and atmosphere. There were two live tracks, that were good. They at least showed that the band can give the goods out live, and sounded vicious. The vocalist definitely has a possessed voice, its visceral to say the least. For the most part this was a solid disc, and hopefully the band will in the future keep up the sheer rawness and primitiveness. Favorite tracks: Celebrating the Black Arts, Crni Jebeni Metal, Nesanica (Live at Demo 202)

Auh. “Silna Volja Srebra” je album prvenac crnog metal sastava “Krv”, koji je izasao ove godine pod “Walk Records” etiketom. Na ovom albumu se nalazi osam numera, od kojih su sedam autorske (pet studijskih i dve uzivo), a jedna je obrada (u pitanju je “Pakao” od “Bombardera”). Vrlo lako mozemo zakljuciti o cemu se ovde tacno radi cak iako samo bacimo pogled na nazive pesama, koji idu ovako: “Pale Kurve”, “Crni Jebeni Metal”, “Krv”… i tako dalje. Matori raw black metal je pravac koji “Krv” neguje. Fascinantno je kako gitare suste i zuje. To bi valjda bila njihova glavna karakteristika. Kao i avetinjski vokal, takodje. Produkcija i nije bas sjajna, ali zasto bi to u ovom slucaju bilo lose? Mada ipak, neki put i ume da zasmeta, a to je u slucaju kada se druga gitara jedva cuje.

Pa jebiga jarane podrumčina od black metala, hehe, sam jeb ga nedostaje nam još BM bandova, ako ima nekih koji nešto rade(mislim u BiH) nek se oglase, treba nam toga...jadi moji nije valjda da imamo samo jedan BM band, kod nas se većinom scena svodi na Death i HC, jeb ga... :roll:

Krv “Silna Volja Srebra” (Bosnia & Herzegovina, Walk Records, black metal, 2006)

Krv (meaning “blood”) share members with Silent Kingdom, but the similarity between the two bands really ends there. “Silna Volja Srebra” is a savage mauling from start to finish, with fizzy, abrasive guitars dominating the mix, as is usual for black metal. Krv are able to create some dissonant, evil sounding riffs; in fact the guitar playing here, whilst firmly within the BM framework, sound twisted and unique, so much so I can't think of anything to compare it to. “Crni Iebeni Metal” and “Krv” are particularly unfriendly and the best two tracks on here for me (though I like all of it, to be honest). Anybody who likes sick primitive black metal should check out Krv immediately. Uncouth, brutal and savage, this is joyously nasty stuff! Pro-printed CD-R with 2 page booklet is available from Walk Recs.
